Strengthening democracy through informed visuals on AI

2024
Concept / Illustration

The impact alliance »AI4Democracy« aims to strengthen democracy through the informed use of artificial intelligence. We designed key visuals and icons.

Made for KI Campus and AI4D.

Within a tight timeframe of two weeks, we went from concept to finalized designs. A first challenge was to reflect the visual languages of both KI Campus and AI4Democracy in the new designs. Another one was to visualize complex, multilayered topics in on point imagery that is consumed quickly. The final illustration set includes six key visuals and eleven custom icons.

We started with a kick-off workshop with our client and agreed on the crucial elements for the final visuals. Together we picked one of three design directions: the visual framework was set! This groundwork enabled us to efficiently create stunning eye-catching illustrations.

For very tightly timed projects, we recommend working with the design sprint format. We work continously and exclusively for the client on their project in an intense time frame with agile feedback loops. Direct communication and a focused collaborative setting between the design team and the decision-makers ensures fast deliveries even on complex topics.
