Showcasing Research and Business Results in an Annual Report
We designed and layouted the 2025 annual report as well as comprehensive infographics for ELI ERIC, the world's largest and most advanced high-power laser infrastructure.
Made for The Extreme Light Infrastructure.
The 100-page publication, for print and screen, combines economic and operational reporting requirements with detailed insights into the research and development activities at one of the world's leading laser research centers.
The report was completely redesigned in close collaboration with the communications department. It establishes a clear information structure and presents the research achievements in an attractive and professional manner. A flexible type area allows for a varied and magazine-like layout. Accessibility, in terms of color combinations, font size and readability was also taken into account and is a fundamental component of DGA’s design.
Organisational information, research fields and the User Access Programme were visually presented using taylored infographics and icons and put together in a compelling visual storytelling section. These visualisations were also used to create 2 stand-alone factsheets that complement the annual report.
The photographic language provides real insights into the modern state-of-art facilities and everyday work of the researchers. In this way, ELI ERIC gains further authenticity and can adequately showcase its focus on User Access.
